Alida Carcano

Alida Carcano, CFA, Founding Partner of Valori Asset Management SA boasts over 20 years of experience in the banking sector and in Private Banking at a global level. Before founding Valori, you held prestigious positions at Credit Suisse Group (where you were also, as Managing Director, Global Head Investment Products Strategy), Lombard Odier & Cie, UBS and Deutsche Bank. Graduated magna cum laude from Luigi Bocconi University in Milan, Alida perfected her knowledge by obtaining the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) title in the United States in 1994. Since 1996 she has held numerous positions within the CFA Institute (including founding the Italian CFA Society in 1999), until assuming the role of Governor from 2005 to 2008, and becoming part of the “CFA European Investment Conference Advisory Group” from 2009. Alida is currently a member of the Executive Advisory Board of the CFA Institute Education Advisory Committee and is a Mentor of the Executive MBA programs at Bocconi University. She has a passion for foreign languages and cultures; she is currently studying Chinese.
